Brachioplasty, or an arm lift (brachioplasty), is a procedure aimed at removing excess skin and fat from the back of the arms in order to improve the shape and contour. Fluctuations in weight, growing older, and genetics can cause drooping or sagging of the skin on the arms. Sometimes this condition cannot be corrected through exercise and surgery is required. It can also restrict movement and in severe cases, cause problems to the shoulders due to the excess weight.
