Dr Justin Perron is a Canadian born, Australian-trained Plastic and Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon. He studied Chemistry and Biochemistry in Calgary Canada at the University of Calgary before moving to Australia to pursue his medical training in 2000.
After growing up in a medically oriented family where his father is also a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Perron decided to continue the tradition, and pursued a career in medicine. Dr Perron completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia before moving to Queensland in 2003.
Dr Perron has spent many years of study and training before completing his Australian Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). He has worked throughout Queensland, from Townsville to Brisbane, Redcliffe, Caboolture, and Gold Coast. His Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training has taken him from the South East of Queensland to Perth in Western Australia. Dr. Perron presents at surgical conferences, and has published articles in a number of journals. He keeps up to date with the latest trends in Plastic Surgery, and maintains current knowledge in this broad and diverse field.
Dr Justin Perron currently works at the Wesley Hospital, St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, Brisbane Private Hospital and the Spring Hill Specialist day Hospital. His private rooms are located at Herstellen Clinic in Spring Hill.
Dr Justin Perron has a variety of surgical interests. He can meet to provide personalized answers and care about a variety of surgical procedures including skin cancer treatment, melanoma surgery, tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) surgery, breast reduction (reduction mammoplasty), breast augmentation (augmentation mammoplasty), body lift (circumfirential lipoabdominoplasty) surgery, liposuction (suction assisted lipectomy), and breast reconstruction after breast cancer. Dr Perron also performs aesthetic/cosmetic surgery of the breast, abdomen, face and ears.
Dr Perron also performs hand surgery for common conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s contracture, ganglions, cysts, and is available for after hours emergency hand injuries, including Work Cover related injuries.
